Yes, TOMORROW is the big night for New Expression 4: Summer In The City! (Click here for details) An evening of art, music, and silliness, courtesy of LUNCHBOXING (the web page you are currently looking at)!!! That's right, the same technology that makes this website what it is (MIND TECHNOLOGY), has created another evening of treats in store for those in the Bay Area tomorrow. We've made a couple new videos (The LUBO Guide To Shit Talkin' (in basketball), Dogs With Hats!), have a bunch of "classics," and of course have a stable of talented musicians and artists coming to show and sell their innovative and exceptional artwork. MIND ARTWORK! Since I am still in the process of doing the things that will hopefully make the show good, there are no new features today. Instead, here are some old lunchboxing related pictures and movies to PUMP YOU UP for the Summer In The City Show!

*Please note that yesterday's post by P.F. Tug of Stay Gold Pony Boy was not aiming fun at anyone's sexual preferences. Except maybe his own. And mine.

Listen Up!
Hey all! The next show is steadily approaching (THIS Thursday), so I have invited LUBO pal and super-musician P.F. Tug to say a few words. Enjoy!
Rick James Hostage Crisis: A Word From P.F. Tug
by P.F. Tug
My musical career has taken me from the humiliating valleys of Jr. High band to the glorious peaks of piss stanking bars with a maximum capacity of 13 people, and so it is with great anticipation that I ascend to the city in the clouds that is The New Expression 4: Summer in the City!
It is hard to contain my excitement when day dreaming about the LUBO debut of my band, Stay Gold Pony Boy, on June 24th. This is evident by that first run on sentence and the boner which rages in my rainbow bright underoos.
SGPB and LUBO have many things in common:
1) We enjoy sketch comedy
2) We make fools of ourselves in front of an audience as much as possible
3) We encourage self expression in all forms
4) We are both possibly gay, which is okay (I think?)
In fact, the similarities are so pervasive that when I first approached (read: begged) my dear friend and dark overlord of LUBO Jamie Flam to be included in one of his shows - it was a no brainer. Either he say yes or I stab him with the sharpened drum stick I carry with me to ward off evil doers. It works for vampyres, so I figure that it can kill a jew from the San Fernando Valley (though I'm still not sure, because they eat a lot of pickled garlic).
Seriously folks, The Pony Boy is ecstatic to share our unique blend of fun, forest, and fantasy with the LUBO family. Think RenFaireTM if you replaced all the hippies with hessiers and your drama teacher wasn't there. We tackle difficult subjects like alchemy, communism, lubrication, and gun control under the guise of big ole rock and roll. Most importantly we have an infectiously good time, hoping to elicit a few laughs along the way which I do believe is exactly what LUBO is about !
