Buying records can be a pain in the ass and it can also be extremely rewarding. Overall, it's muuuuuuuuuuuuuuch cheaper than buying CDs. I decided I felt like "reviewing" buying/collecting records. I'm no expert, but i know what I like. The bonified cheapness of records is a real bonus to those of us interested in things that are cheap. And records really CAN be cheap, provided the cost has been kept quite low.

From Outer Space

It was about time ALF made the front page of lunchboxing! Such a defining character of our generation. You could say that he changed the face of television as we know it, paving the way for shows like "ER", "The Simpsons", and even "The Sopranos". Yes, you could say that. But you probably shouldn't. What you should say is that ALF paved the way for 1-800-COLLECT commercials across the country. And when you say "paved the way", you really mean that he was just "in some [of the commercials]". Which is utterly ridiculous. And in many ways sad. But not as sad as the picture of Michael Jackson that has been floating around the internet today. I literally had tears in my eyes when I saw that. Then I started having a panic attack. To see why, check out the picture and relevant article we put together this morning by clicking on this string of bolded words.

Enchanted Daly City

I love the word enchantment. It is in many ways, what I look for in life. Enchantment. I have never found it in Daly City, however. Not that I was looking the four times I found myself lost there. The above picture somehow depicts Daly City as enchanted, doesn't it? Not so much? Well, then the following review of the new Eminem flick 8 Mile by dr. new agey surely captures the enchantment that is Daly City. So read it by clicking on the picture above. The one I mentioned a couple sentences ago. Remember? No? Then click here.

Frankie Goes To Hollywood

Frankie is a lunchboxer. A bully. He wrote a review on his experiences surrounding the movie The Ring. That's why I cleverly chose "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" as the name of this post. Like that one band. The one that had that song called "Relax". It was a sexual metaphor. That's what VH1 told me in the Frankie Goes to Hollywood Behind the Music, 80's Special, Sex Special, One Hit Wonders Special, and two other specials. Click on the words "very special", bolded below, to read the review by Frankie.

very special

We at Lunchboxing.com recently asked ourselves, what does the motion picture industry need? The answer was simple: We thought it was HIGH TIME someone made another movie about Marijuana. About smoking weed. About the beauty and magic that is "Pot Culture." Because everyone in the entire world can relate to Smoking Weed. I mean, we love weed. And we know you do too. A lot. Of weed, that is. To be smoked. On this GREEN earth.

Many of you may have heard of Project Greenlight, an HBO Sponsored screenwriting competition, the winner of which recieved $1 million to make his movie.

We made the informed decision to blatantly steal this idea and have our own contest. Enter Project GREEN Light.

At any rate, we received thousands sticky icky entries, and picking a winner was harder than picking the seeds and stems out of an ultra potent sack of chronic (get it?). But somehow we managed.

Do yourself a favor. Kick back, hold a lighter to a phat blunt, and click below to see the prototype poster for the first ever Lunchboxing.com Project GREEN Light major motion picture event...coming soon to to a theater near you.
